.: a little about our desktop tower PCs

The assembly and sale of desktop (tower) PCs has long been our core business. We began building and supplying computer systems way back in 1993; those Intel 486 powered machines ran at a whopping 33Mhz, and were fitted with a gargantuan 4Mb of RAM!

Thankfully, things have changed a lot since then, but our core-values of reliability, performance, and value-for-money have never changed. We aim to build the best PCs for each given price point. With brand-name motherboards from the likes of ASUS, and excellent future-proofing and upgradeability, we believe our systems are a cut above our rival's products, especially those offered by the large retail-park vendors.

We build our own systems. This allows us to cherry-pick the best components for each of our PCs, through internet research, and based upon our 16-year wealth of past experience. And each PC is entirely customisable to your needs.

We offer machines powered by either Intel or AMD processors. From budget full systems for under £400, suitable for word-processing and internet browsing, to ultra-powerful full gaming rigs, with SLI graphics and Quad-Core processors...

The choice is yours...

.: did you know ?...

...that we can still offer new PCs with Windows XP ? Despite Windows 7 having being released in late 2009 with rave reviews, we have found that many customers still prefer the familiarity and compatibility of Windows XP over Windows 7.

Whilst the majority of new PCs these days come pre-loaded with Windows 7, we are nevertheless able to supply and install Windows XP instead, and you would just pay the cost of the XP software! (i.e. no grossly inflated extra install/setup charge for conversion to XP). Call for latest pricing and details...

.: entry-level

At the entry-level price point, by which we mean £300 to £400, (complete with screen and Operating System), we offer a variety of different models. We even accept part-exchange. These are simple, practical, no-frills towers, which are built to work as hard as you do. We have designed these models primarily for business use, but have found that many home users also appreciate a solid, reliable machine, that won't break the bank. Call us on (01642) 601160 for details.

.: mid-range

One of our mid-range PCs would normally cost between £400 and £700, depending upon specification and equipment selected. We also accept part-exchange. Compared to the budget PCs outlined above, our mid-range models have more RAM memory, a larger hard-drive, a faster processor (at least a quad-core), and more powerful 3D graphics, using a discrete accelerator rather than on-board graphics. The screen is larger too, we're now supplying 22" displays with these sorts of models.

These models are suitable for any computing task, and are also capable of PC games play too. Call us on (01642) 601160 for more details.

.: high-end

One of our high-end PCs would normally cost between £700 and £1000, although we also have uber extreme high-end machines available too, with literally the best of everything inside. These "extreme" PCs cost almost £2000 as of Sept 2010, depending upon specification and equipment selected. Standard processor in one of these is currently Intel Core i7.

However, for when four cores just aren't enough, we also offer machines based around the new AMD Phenom II X6 "Hexa-Core" processor. These are fantastic CPUs in a machine that is going to be used for tasks such as video encoding or decoding. And cheaper than the Intel based machines too... Call us now to discuss your requirements and obtain a quote.

Compared to the budget and mid-range PCs outlined above, all of our high-end models have even more RAM memory, (up to 8 Gig as of Sept 2010), plus a larger hard-drive, an even faster multi-core processor (a quad-core), plus even more powerful 3D graphics, using a high-end discrete 3D accelerator, with up to 1 Gig of graphics RAM installed. The standard screen supplied would be a 22" display, though even larger units are available.

Our high-end machines will breeze through any software you can throw at them. And graphics in games would be superb; superior to those provided by an XBox 360 or SONY Playstation 3 console. We even take part-exchange. Call us on (01642) 601160 for more details.

.: custom-spec

We are also able to provide fully custom spec PC systems. You can choose the parts you want, and we will build it for you! And we will still provide our standard 1-year parts-and-labour warranty too. No spec is too high or too low! And if you want the PC system less monitor, or even wish to carry over components from your previous system, then that's no problem at all, as all of this can be accommodated. Give us a ring on (01642) 601160 with your requirement, or email us using the link at the top-left of this page.

Above is an example of one of our custom-spec systems. This machine has been built into a completely clear casing. We have a good selection of other casings available. Call into our showroom for details.
